With his passion for trance music growing, Mark – currently aged 28, from Cheltenham – found himself with a set of decks nearing the end of 2001. He spent the next few years building his skills and taking trancey influence from the likes of Armin van Buuren and Tiesto. His love for dance music opened him up to the techy and tough styles of music from stars such as Marco V and Mauro Picotto, and so his own intriguing and compelling style began to take shape.
It wasn’t until 2004 when Mark was asked to play his first gig out in clubland, and, as a totally fresh-faced and unknown DJ, he promptly wowed a room full of enthusiastic clubbers with his special blend of trance, tech and flawless mixing, instantly making a name for himself in Cheltenham’s underground clubbing scene.
Since then Mark has played at various events in and around Gloucestershire and made his debut appearance in London playing for the famed Electronic Sessions boat party, closing for the legendary Jon O’Bir. Mark has also appeared alongside and supported talents such as JFK, John Kelly, James Ellis, Chris Salt, Mike Foyle, Matt Hardwick, Judge Jules and Solarstone.
