Mark90 – Touch v2 – 06-03-2010
My first mix of 2010 (ok, ok, it’s March already) sees v2 of my Touch series. I really enjoyed putting this mix down, the tracks that came together are absolutely amazing and I’m thrilled with the progression that develops and the transitions that I’ve achieved. Also look out for my ‘Half&Half’ remix of Above & Beyond’s incredible track, ‘Anjunabeach’, which I’m very much enjoying at the moment.

Mark90 – Touch v1 – 04-12-2009
Having been recently re-invigorated by trance, I began thinking about a new mixing ethos. Let’s face it, everyone is after producing something (or something which at least refers to) “deep”, “meaningful”, or “intimate” or what-have-you. I wanted to avoid the obvious, but I always ended up coming back to music with “feeling”. So, physically at least, I figured you couldn’t have feeling without experiencing “touch”, and so my new ‘Touch’ mixes have come into being. I’m excited about this, and I’m looking for this to bloom into something rather special.

Mark90 – Style Unknown v1 – 01-10-2009
I had the urge to start a new series of mixes which were pretty much totally different to what I play most of the time. The rough idea was for it to be deep and techy at heart – maybe to appeal to the masses more, who knows – and so ‘Style Unknown’ was born. Expect more of this!

Mark90 – August 2009 – 06-08-2009
August’s mix was something I put together to warm myself up for my debut London gig on the 8th August – playing at the famed Electronic Sessions boat party where I closed for the legendary Jon O’Bir! The mix takes on a rather cool and mellow form early on, with blissful new tracks from Above & Beyond like ‘I Am What I Am’ and ‘Ashes’. Mark90 – LIVE @ Break Out – 12-06-2009
Okay, this is an *actual* live recording of my set at Break Out on the 12th June 2009, where I opened for none other than SOLARSTONE. This couldn’t have gone any better to be honest. The music was amazing all night as was the event in general. All sets were recorded that night – aside from Solarstone’s (but it was frickin’ awesome!) because we weren’t allowed to. So you’ll just have to go see him play live for yourself sometime!

Mark90 – Tech ‘n’ FX – 14-12-2007
I’ve been itching to do a much more techy mix recently and I’ve finally got round to getting one recorded. There seems to be a lot more decent tech trance being released at the moment, which is great, as that particular sub-genre seemed to go a bit quiet over the middle of 2007. So, lots of wicked tunes to be heard in this mix, enhanced by some subtle use of FX and there’s also a bit of a cheeky live bootleg mix of two of my favourite tracks at the end. One of these is a classic from early 2001 which sticks in my mind from spending some long nights at the awesome Golden events. To all who were there: “You are Golden!”.

Someone at the event asked me for a demo but I didn’t have any on me so promised them a fresh mix and got this recorded as soon as I could. This is my November demo mix, packed full of brand new tunes some of which are amongst the best this year has seen. The set itself is is similar to a set I played on the 27th October at a club called the 2Pigs in Cheltenham. Mark90 – Twilight 2 – 24-09-2006
3 years ago I recorded a chilled out progressive set which I called ‘Twilight’. It went down really well so I decided I’d record a follow up. I’ve now finally got round to it and I’m liking the results. The tracklist stayed quite true to the original one I put together a few years back, so for the hardcore amongst you, there will be some familiar tunes.
